IN-KIND Donations
Your donations of paper products, prepared food, linen, office and school supplies, household items, and monetary contributions will go a long way in supporting the programs and services offered by Heather House and the Interfaith Council of Solano County.  The following is a list of items that are always needed at Heather House. You can drop them by any time at Heather House, 724 Ohio Street, Fairfield, CA 94533–day or night–just please call 707-427-8566 to let us know when you will be arriving so that we can assist you!

· Canned Food
· Cleaning supplies (ajax, comet, oven cleaner, furniture polish, bar soap, windex)
· Clorox bleach
· Garbage bags (13 and 30 gallon size)
· Gently used towels, wash cloths, twin sized sheets, twin blankets, pillow cases.
· Gift Certificates (Food Maxx, Target, Wal-Mart)
· Gloves (food service and latex, med and large size)
· Household items (gently used are fine- dishes, bowls, glasses, serving bowls)
· Hygiene items (sanitary napkins, tampons, shampoo, conditioner)
· Laundry detergent, dishwasher powder
· Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, reams of multi-use computer paper)
· Utensils (used are fine- knives, forks and spoons)

  UNITED WAY OF THE BAY AREA: You can designate The Interfaith Council of Solano County as your United Way charity of choice. All donations received will be used to further the work of the Interfaith Council.
  VEHICLE DONATIONS are an excellent way to contribute to The Interfaith Council of Solano County.  It's as easy as a phone call.  We'll pick up the car at your convenience and at no charge; the DMV paperwork will be taken care of and you can get a tax write-off for your donation.  If you don't have time to sell that car or RV yourself, donating is an excellent option.  We have partnered with Episcopal Charities to sell your donated vehicle as quickly and as profitably as possible and proceeds from the sale of your donated vehicle will help us to continue to make a crucial difference in the lives of individuals in need living here in Solano County.
